"AIRBVB" Borussia Dortmund bus explosion: Monaco fans offered beds by German club

Monaco fans have been offered beds by Borussia Dortmund after their Champions League game was rearranged due to a bomb. Fans of the French club may have been flying back after last night's game or may have had to stay an extra night as the game will now be played tonight. Monaco have now revealed they will reimburse those fans nearly £70 for having to stay on.

Dortmund star Marc Bartra was hospitalised after an explosion on the team bus near the Signal Iduna Park stadium. Fans were not in danger at the stadium, with the incident happening near the team hotel about six miles away from the stadium. Details of the explosion were put up on the big screen at Dortmund's home ground with updates from the matchday announcer, naturally changing the atmosphere inside.

Dortmund's Twitter account had gone one step further to try and accommodate the travelling French contingent so they wouldn't have to spend more money on alternative arrangements. The fans responded with genuine offers. The visiting French fans made a wonderful gesture as well, as they began to chant "Dortmund Dortmund" and clapped their German counterparts - with the Borussia fans clapping back in return.

Spaniard Bartra was the only person hurt in the incident and is stable with minor cuts after the shattering of a window on the team bus following one of the blasts. The reports also say that it was a miracle that he was not hurt more badly- with Bild reporting that there were as many as three explosions.
