- Lugano defeat ZSC Lions 3:2 with the series tied 2:2
- Bern are one step away from the semi-finals after victory in Biel
- Zug send Servette home
- Davos claim the series win over Lausanne
HC Lugano v ZSC: Even the fourth game ended very tightly and was decided only by a one goal difference. The home team won once again. For the second placed qualification team, the "easy" opponent Lugano is turning out to be a real hard shell to crack. The Luganese bring the series to a tie at 2:2.
EHC Biel v SC Bern: All in all Bern deserved the victory. The reigning champions were the dominating team over many periods throughout the game. However, Biel's tactics were to apply force but it didn't affect the reigning champions as they stuck to their gameplan. (Series 1:3)
Servette v EV Zug: Zug used their first chance to qualify for the semi-finals. After the last third which was dominated by Servette, Zug decided the game for themselves by scoring three goals within little more than 7 minutes (Series 0:4).
HC Davos v Lausanne: HCD gave Lausanne no chance and move into the semi-finals with four straight victories. This is a huge disappointment for Lausanne as they managed to achieve their best ever qualification position. One can say that the best players of Lausanne failed in the play-offs (Series 4:0).
All eyes will be on Lugano and ZSC as there is still everything to play for. On the other hand, Bern have nearly secured the third semi-final spot. The next games will be played on Tuesday, March 14th.
